Hope you are staying warm! I don’t know about you, but January feels like it is just flying by! Maybe it is all the great classes happening in Knoxville, and all the meetups and things I have been a part of this month! It could possibly even be the new workout I have been doing, wishing that 6 weeks of training would hurry up!

Sage Advice

We have done bowls, and candles for manifesting that abundance to pay off the holiday debt! So this week we have a simple jar spell for abundance!

To create your spell jar:
1. Start by cleansing your jar with incense or moon water.
2. Add a layer of basil at the bottom.
3. Place a cinnamon stick inside.
4. Sprinkle in the green aventurine.
5. Add a whole bay leaf.
6. Top it off with a sprinkle of gold glitter.
7. Close the jar and seal it with positive intentions for wealth and prosperity.
8. Place this jar in your home or workspace and let the energy of abundance flow freely.

As with any spell, do the one that calls to you! You are the true magic! Enjoy the possibilities!

Night Sky: Mars Close to Pollux (all night)

From mid-January to mid-April Mars' retrograde loop will carry it through the stars of Gemini. On Wednesday, Jan. 22, the bright red planet will pass only 2.4 degrees from Gemini's bright, white star, Pollux. The planet and the star will be less than two finger widths apart for several days, and binoculars close for several weeks.

After dusk the pair will be located low in the eastern sky. They'll climb high, due south, by midnight and set in the west just before sunrise. After Wednesday, Mars will continue to travel into central Gemini.
