A couple quick personal notes:

I am a virtual assistant for Vegfest Expos out of North Carolina, and we are putting on Asheville Veganfest Spring 6/22. There are still vendor spots available! And we also really need volunteers! Follow the link to be a part of the fun in the Mountains!

Sage Advice

Color influences everything about the world around us. What we choose to wear, what we choose to eat, and how we decorate. Color Magic can have a subconscious and conscious effect if we get intentional about it. 

Color Theory, especially in marketing, shows us that using certain colors can affect:

• Moods

• Thoughts and Impressions

• Feelings

Each color on the spectrum has a certain vibrational frequency. By using Color Magic in your Witchcraft you can invoke and attract whatever vibration you need for your spell work. .

Common ways to use color in your magical practice (again):

• Candle Magic: Use specific candle colors depending on the spell's intent. For instance, you might use a green candle in a money spell and a pink candle in a spell for self-love.

• Altar Decorations and Sacred Spaces: Using colored cloths, gemstones, and other items on your altar can help set the tone for your ritual and focus your intent.

• Ritual Dress and Ceremony: Wearing specific colors during rituals can enhance your magical workings by aligning your energy with your intent.

• Glamour Magic: Color plays a crucial role in glamour magic and can be used in makeup, daily dress, and jewelry.

• Crystals and Plant Magic: Like candles, crystals and plants come in a variety of gorgeous colors. The same crystal or flower in a different color can alter a spell to align with multiple intentions.

• Meditation and Visualization: You can incorporate colored light or visualize specific vibrational frequencies during meditation to tap into their unique energies.

All the magic you can do with Red, orange and yellow you can do with this weeks colors:

• Green

• Blue

• Violet

Green:

Nature, fertility, mother goddesses, growth, rejuvenation, harvest, abundance, prosperity, money, career, employment, harmony, balance, peace, hope, plants and animals.

Witch tip: Paint your nails green during a time in which you could use some extra cash flow. carry a green wallet so you always have an increase in cash flow, use green gardening tools to promote growth, place a “money tree” in your house.

Blue:

Sea, sky, peace, tranquility, calmness, truth, wisdom, counsel, guidance, understanding, patience, loyalty, honor, sincerity, devotion, healing, prophetic dreams, protection during sleep, astral projection, surgery, health concerns.

Witch tip: Hang pictures of blue things in your office to increase focus and creativity, drink from a blue mug in the morning to keep you calm, paint your room blue to promote harmony, or wear a blue necklace for great communication

Violet:

Spirits, angels, divination, prophecy, psychic abilities, psychic healing, psychic power, inspiration, meditation, spirituality, increasing intuition, ascended masters, astral projection, third eye opening.

Witch tip: Take a break from your project to blast some Prince and dance around like the queen you are. When you're done dancing, you'll know what to do. Wear purple lipstick when you want your words to hold power, dye your hair when you want powerful presence, color things or write letters in purple ink.

These first six colors also correspond to chakra centers! But that is sage advice for another time

Night Sky: Mars & Regulus

Mars and Regulus will be a finger’s width apart on June 16. Extend your arm and hold up one finger. Your finger will cover them. This is a great photo opportunity for these 2 bright and colorful night sky gems. Also, use your binoculars. They’ll make the colors pop! They’ll be closest to each other in mid-June. And then Mars will move on crossing in front of the rest of Leo the Lion.

Shop Highlight!

As promised more on the Human Design Mini Readings happening at New Moon Rising Gifts and Goods. It is Thursday and the event link is listed in Thursdays Happenings. But here is a little about AJ and what you can expect when you get a reading!

AJ (she/they) is a pansexual with autism. Human Design helped to reframe AJ’s understanding of self from disability to design. There’s nothing wrong, that’s just how she is designed! She now enjoys sharing human design readings with others in hopes that they too can take something from it in order to be more compassionate towards themselves.
