Sage Advice

Now that we’ve passed Midsummer and officially hit the six-month mark of The Knoxville Sage, we thought it was the perfect time for a little recap!

In the past half-year, we’ve sent out 27 newsletters (counting this one) packed with mystical events from all kinds of shops around the Knoxville area.

✨ Magickally speaking, we’ve explored color magick inspired by PRIDE month, rituals for mental wellness during Mental Health Month, luck spells, intention setting, journaling, baking, cleansing practices, and more.

🌸 We’ve also shared ways to celebrate the year’s first sabbats—with vegan hot cross buns, flower crowns, bonfires, and all the witchy goodness in between.

📬 Our little coven is growing! We’ve reached 48+ subscribers, 143 Facebook followers, and 130 Instagram followers—thank you!

🐾 We’ve featured nearly 20 adoptable familiars and visited amazing spots like The Kraken’s Cup Tearoom, 2 Moon Markets, and Fable Hollow Coffee & Bookshoppe—all discovered while curating events just for you.

Night Sky: Mars & Mercury

In early July, 2 planets – Mercury and Mars – are in the evening sky. They will lie along the path the sun travels in the daytime. Look for Mercury close to the western horizon shortly after sunset. Mars will be higher in the sky and will lie in front of the constellation Leo the Lion. It’ll set before midnight this month. Mercury will reach its greatest distance from the sun on July 3rd & 4th before slipping away later in the month.
