Hello spooky season eve!! I am so excited for crisper weather! I really can’t believe this is the summer I used to play outside like 24/7!

My birthday month was uneventful, and my September isn’t looking much better.. But October, oh I have plans for you!

The crest of the full Corn Moon occurs at 18:09 UTC on September 7 (12:09 p.m. CDT). And a total lunar eclipse will start at 17:30 UTC, when the full moon will start to pass through the darkest part of Earth’s shadow, the umbra. The moon will be totally eclipsed from 17:30 UTC to 18:53 UTC. The moment of greatest eclipse is 18:11 UTC. By 19:56 UTC, the moon will have completely left the umbral shadow. The total lunar eclipse will sweep across Antarctica, Australia, Asia, the western Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, Europe, the eastern Atlantic Ocean and Africa. The moon will be visible all night and will be close to Saturn that evening.
