Greetings, Magickal Souls!

🎶It’s the most wonderful time of the year! 🎵 Not only are we getting closer to Halloween!! But it is also hockey season!!! Football and Hockey make my heart happy! And gives me a nice little reprieve from the world. So I can’t help myself when they are in full swing!

My little wanderlust heart is dying for a road trip. But the bank account says the only road trip you should take is to work.. So I am stuck at home, but luckily I get to live vicariously through co-founder Candie who will be road tripping for her birthday next week!

Sage Advice

My advice this week is to entrench yourself in our community! It is amazing, welcoming, and magickal (duh!) You can start with the spooky energy of this weeks Moon Market! It is this Saturday, Oct. 18th from 12-4pm. Come out for a day filled with love, light, fun, and good vibes!

"I Don't Care: A Restaurant Asked for by Name" will have their food truck on site, and they'll be serving up delicious breakfast and lunch dishes from a custom menu they created especially for our event. Their menu includes vegetarian and vegan options for all the veg heads out there, so come hungry and eat local!

Night Sky: New moon and perfect timing for Orionid meteor shower

The moment of new moon will fall at 12:25 UTC on October 21, 2025. That’s 7:25 a.m. CDT. New moons rise and set with the sun. Nights around the new moon are perfect for stargazing, and this one coincides with the peak of the Orionid meteor shower.

Starting after midnight through the wee hours before dawn. If you trace Orionid meteors backward on the sky’s dome, they seem to radiate from the upraised club of the famous constellation Orion the Hunter. This is the shower’s radiant point. The bright star near the radiant point is reddish Betelgeuse. Under a dark sky with no moon, the Orionids exhibit a maximum of about 10 to 20 meteors per hour.
