Greetings, Magickal Souls!

We hope you had a good Christmas. That it was just what your heart needed. Mine was nice and quiet, just how I liked it. My mother in law came over and my husband cooked an amazing vegan lasagna and we just shared space watching football!

Now we hang out in the weird space between Christmas and New Year’s and wait. I am personally excited for the newness that the new year brings! For the feeling of a fresh slate and the momentum I need to make change.

Speaking of change. As we enter into our 2nd year, we created a survey. Sage Advice

Here at the Knoxville Sage we don’t really set resolutions. We pick a word of the year. A way we want to feel. An intention we can set to remind us of how we want our life to be in the year to come.

Last year I my word was worthy. I wanted to remind myself that I was worthy of receiving more. I was worthy of being loved properly. And I was worthy of the magic.

This year I was leaning towards abundant. But after seeing Coven’s Library post about wishes for the new year, and the magic of unicorns on their Patreon I decided to dig deeper. So my word this year is still close to abundant, but it is wealthy. I plan to continue my endeavors so that my life can be fully funded by the work I do. I will use wealthy to remind myself what I am working towards and keep my eyes on the goal this year.

Night Sky: Full Wolf Moon

The January full moon is the Wolf Moon and it’s a supermoon. It’ll occur overnight on January 2-3. The crest of the full moon falls on January 3 at 4:03 a.m. CST for folks in central North America. So the moon will be at its fullest on the morning of January 3, but it will appear full on both nights, January 2 and 3. It will glow near bright Jupiter and the twin stars of Gemini, Castor and Pollux.
