Happy One Year Anniversary to The Knoxville Sage!! The first edition came out January 1st 2025! So it is our first birthday! And we want to thank all of you for subscribing! Helping us spread the word and tuning in each week to see what magic and events the week holds!

I passed my “The Craft” exam as I work on my degree at the University of Metaphysical Sciences! I have another exam I passed part of, but have two short answer questions I’m not quite ready for. So I’d like to think 2026 is off to a decent start!

Sage Advice

This week’s sage advice is going to be a little different. I am going to tell you to send me your events! Each week I go through Facebook, websites of the shops I know about, and sometimes IG to try and pull together the events that make it into the newsletter each week.

However, as much as I would like, I don’t know everyone and every thing. So there is a good chance you are getting missed. Email me your events, or your website, or your Facebook page where you post everything so that I can get you into the newsletter when your events are happening! That can include some specials, something new you have coming out.. Or just about “anything” else you want to share with the community.

Two things make up the success of this newsletter. Having events to share, and readers who want to know about them. So make sure I have your events to share by emailing us at [email protected].

Night Sky: Jupiter in Opposition

Jupiter will reach opposition at 3 a.m. CST on January 10, 2026. Opposition is when Earth flies between Jupiter and the sun, bringing the giant planet opposite the sun in our sky. It’s the best time of year to view this giant planet.
